Governor sullivan chime buries mum

Chief Mrs Theresa Ekpeluchi Chime, mother of Governor Sullivan Chime, was buried today in Enugu.

Mrs Chime died on March 19th, in Enugu, during a brief illness, and her burial was slightly delayed because of the closure of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, which was temporarily shut down to enable the airport authorities install lights to facilitate night landing in the airport.

With the airport now re-opened, the major hitch to the burial of Mrs Chime was removed. The remains of Chief Chime was today, laid to rest in her country home in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.
