Nigerian pop star, Wizkid, was announced winner of the Best International act (Africa) at the BET awards in LA on Sunday, July 1, 2012, beating heavy weights Camp Mulla (Kenya), Ice Prince (Nigeria), Lira (South Africa) and Mokobe (Mali).
Wizkid and Sarkodie from Ghana came out tops and received a joint award prize in the same category.
